Palau HiSET Requirements
- Resident: You must be a resident of Palau for at least one year.
- Enrolled: You cannot be enrolled in an accredited high school or be a high school graduate.
- Age: You must be 18 and have been withdrawn from school for 1 year. But be sure to check out other Palau requirements to take the HiSET exam.
- Cost: $10 (per subject) + one-time $10 test center fee
- Passing score: 8 in each subtest, combined score of 45; minimum of 2 on the Language Arts, Writing essay
- Accommodations: You can apply for Palau HiSET disability accommodations if needed.
- Palau will award you a HiSET certificate that will show you have achieved the same level of knowledge as a high school graduate once you have successfully passed the exam.

The Palau HiSET exam is $10 per subject, or $50 in full + a one time $10 testing center fee.

Yes, you may take each subject test three times during a calendar year. Before you can retest, you must wait 21 days and complete tutoring instruction in the subjects to be retested as certified by an instructor in the local program.
